‘Chittara’ has emerged as a successful reader’s choice magazine since 2009, and they began to credit the movie makers, actors, actresses and other technicians from the Kannada Film Industry. In 2012, they presented the Chittara Short Film Awards and later, they launched the first edition of ‘Chittara Star Awards’ which took place in 2019, it continued in the year 2022, 2023, and 2024. They have rolled out the complete list of nominations and the categories of the ‘Chittara Star Awards 2025’.
