Reputation, fame, recognition, fan followers and controversies are no lesser in the musical journey of a music artist who has now become an actor of Sandalwood, Chandan Shetty. Chandan hails from Shantigrama whose undying passion for music transformed him as an authentic guitarist and drummer. To attract the music listeners with his innovative notions in the modern music composition, he stepped into the music career as a lyricist and as assistant music director to the well-acclaimed music personality Arjun Janya for the 2012 movie ‘Alemaari’. His association continued in the super hit movies such as ‘Power’, ‘Chakravyuha’, ‘Varadanayaka’ and ‘Bhajrangi’.
Meanwhile, he composed his independent music on the YouTube platform and they received a huge wave of massive response from the audiences. This led to the growth of Chandan earning fame and becoming one of the pivotal music directors of Kannada Cinema through the movies like Railway Children, Sanjeeva, Ganchali, Joshelay, Seizer, Pogaru and Choo Mantar. While, he was witnessing a greatest upheaval both personally and professionally, he met with some unfortunate and unforeseen plagiarism allegations over his musical composition for the songs “Kolumande Jangamadeva” and “Cotton Candy”. Also, he married to his co-contestant of BB Kannada Season 5 Niveditha Gowda but with no specific reason exposed to the media the couple ended their relationship in 2024 officially.
Amidst the hurdle, Chandan continues to pursue his dream of expanding his skills in the music and also in cinema.

She has briefed in an interview that her character is a carefree, bubbly girl who will bring smiles on the audiences faces. But the character revelation of Chandan hasn’t been disclosed yet.
