“Bharjari Bachelors” season 1 was launched in Zee Kannada in 2023 with ten male contestants from various parts of Karnataka who are at the marital age. The show aims to groom the selected contestants to become the eligible bride by involving them in the series of activities that tests their skills throughemotional intelligence, personal interviews and other vibrant chores. Previously, Zee Kannada launched a reality show with the same theme and it was titled as “Swathi Muthu” where the bachelors will compete for their bride. Both the shows garnered the inspiration from the reality shows which are telecasted in other languages like “Swayamvar Series” (Hindi), “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi” (Hindi), “Enga Veetu Mapillai” (Tamil), and “Pellichoopulu” (Telugu).
Bharjari Bachelors 1 – Recap
The contestants who participate and get involved in the diverse activities will be guided by their respective mentors who are referred as an “angel”. They will be paired up with the contestants during the initial episodes to transform them to perform refined in the upcoming tasks. Those female mentors were majorly an actresses from the Kannada Television Industry or a popular media personality and the following are lists of contestants and their angels of BB-1. All their performances are assessed keenly by the prodigious judges V.Ravichandran and Rachita Ram.

After surpassing the stratified evaluations, Jagappa became the winner of the “Bharjari Bachelors” first season, a well-known Television personality and he received the cash prize of five lakhs and a trophy. Followed by Gilli Nataraja, the First Runner-up and Hanumantha, the Second Runner-up of BB-1. The show went off the air successfully in November 2023 and for a year there was no sign of sequel to this reality show.
Bharjari Bachelors 2 – Grand Launch
After a year, Zee Kannada has recently unveiled the launch promo of “Bharjari Bachelor 2” featuring the iconic judges V.Ravichandran and Rachita Ram once again in a witty theme where they aid the bachelors who are searching for their bride for years.
