One of the most watched and popular channels for Telugu audiences is Zee Kannada. The channel is now focusing on refurbishing and rebooting their content and has now launched an out of box and unique serial ‘Karna’. Apart from the existing 9 serials in Zee Kannada serials, this is a new addition that focuses on breaking gender roles in houses and intends to normalise the fluidity of men in women fields.
‘Karna’ Serial Plot
The promo launch of the new serial has the titular character doing all the household chores like drawing kolam or rangoli to make coffee for everyone in the house, managing and multitasking in the kitchen. The catch is all these chores are done by Karna, a decorated and talented Gynecologist who takes pride in multi-tasking and taking care of his family even though some of them take advantage of his kindness and care.

A truly refreshing content and a progressive story that will certainly attract the young audience and possibly normalise the same in the elders. The lead role is played by actor Kiran Raj, who has acted in Kannada movies for years.
