Zee Kannada’s reality show has been providing platforms for the talents who are looking for it to display their skills and experience in the field of entertainment. ‘Mahanati’ is one such reality show which aims to find out a woman with loads of talent in acting and expressing her versatility in it. The first season was launched in 2024 with 16 contestants, whose skills were observed and estimated by the legendary Sandalwood actor Ramesh Aravind, Prema, Tharun Sudhir and Nishvika Naidu. And with her graceful speech and holding the attention of the viewers towards her, Anushree led the whole show forward as a host.

Among the 16 contestants, Priyanka Achar from Mysore was crowned as the title winner of ‘Mahanati Season 1’ with the cash prize of ₹15 lakh and presented with a gold crown. Following that, Dhanyashree from Tarikere became the Runner-up and won the prize amount of ₹10 lakh. A recent buzz regarding the title winner Priyanka came that she is now making her debut in the big screen in an upcoming movie directed by Punith Rangaswamy under the production of Tharun Sudhir who was one of the judges in the show. As per the given information this movie is based on true events and the popular music director D.Imman has joined the movie team recently.
