Malayalam Cinema has a whole vault of fabulous crime thrillers that are gripping and full of mysteries. The recent well executed film ‘Identity’ starring Tovino Thomas, Trisha Krishnan and Vinay Rai in prominent roles and directed by the director duo Akhil Paul and Anees Khan is now announced to be premiering in the OTT Platform Zee 5 from January 2025.

‘Identity’ will be available exclusively for the Zee 5 subscribers from January 31. The story is about a surviving eye witness of a crime who is safeguarded by the investigation officer for securing the witness. Them along with a talented and perfectionist investigation sketcher played by Tovino are on their way to solve the crime and find the perpetrator only for them to realise that Trisha’s character has a unique memory loss that is slowly fading her memory of particular features of human face. Is the perpetrator found at the end? What is the past of the titular character?, are the rest of the story.
