Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ambitious sequel ‘L2: Empuraan’ will have a grand theatrical release on 27 March 2025, and the trailer just received UA certificate with a runtime confirmed to be 3.51 minutes. The movie just became the highest grossing Malayalam movie premiere in North America, where the ticket bookings have opened.
The North America ticket booking amassed to 32,000 USD in 9 locations and 26 shows after the bookings opened only a couple of days ago, with more to expect with over a week left for the premiere. The high octane action thriller ‘L2: Empuraan’ has a splendid cast and crew with Mohanlal leading the band, reprising the role of Stephen Nedumpally.

The sequel is also expected to have a huge release in Kuwait and UAE along with the Gulf countries, awaiting censor approval.
