Muhammad Musthafa entered into the Malayalam film industry through a reality show telecasted in Amrita TV. He then became an renowned actor in the movies “Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha, Malarvaadi Arts Club, Penpattinam, Last bench, Loham”. His passion for cinema extended to the other departments of it. He then decided to debut into Malayalam movies as a director, so he did in the 2020 movie “Kappela”.
It is a social thriller movie which depicts the life of a simple middle class girl who is honey trapped by an auto-driver. The movie gets more intense and gripping when his intentions are unveiled to the female lead and the later incidents. This movie received a huge sum of positive reviews and it was remade into Telugu as “Butta Bomma” in 2023.

Musthafa returns again after four years in an action-packed, groundbreaking movie “Mura”. The trailer of the movie was released today on October 28. The trailer showcases Suraj the Malayalam actor and comedian who plays the role as a gangster and he gets the company of four young men whose life turns upside down in an unexpected event.
