Kadhalika Neramillai is a heartfelt romantic drama starring Nithya Menon and Jayam Ravi. Notable, this film is more special as this was the second film by Krithiga Udhayanidhi following her 1st success of “Vanakkam Chennai.” Indeed this movie proves that she belongs to a literary family!

The film follows the life of Shriya (Nithya Menon) who is an aspiring architect from Chennai, decides suddenly to become a single parent through IVF after a breakup and Siddharth (Jayam Ravi) who is a structural engineer from Bengaluru is deceived by a previous relationship. Their lives are connected without their knowledge which results in an unplanned meeting that establishes the framework for a fascinating story about deep exploration of love and the society’s expectations.

Jayam Ravi Portrays a grounded and mature character. His part is made more authentic by his ability to convey the underlying struggles of life and love without using dramatical gestures. Nithya Menen who plays a free-spirited yet emotionally complicated character stands out in contrast to him due to her expressive acting and natural attractiveness. They have a charming and obvious chemistry that makes the movie more of a “I too Want Such Relationship” moment for the viewers.

Kadhalika Neramillai is expected to premiere on Netflix. Times of India reports says that the movie will be streaming on February 14, making it a special valentine’s day treat for fans. However the makers have not confirmed its official streaming date.
