2024’s biggest blockbuster ‘Maharaja’, globally acclaimed by many much more after its release on Netflix. The movie with perfect screenplay and execution was a massive hit while many appreciate Vijay Sethupathi’s performance, the actress who played his daughter, Sachana Namidass was also unique in her breakout role.
Right after the success of ‘Maharaja’, Sachana Namidass without losing the heat of the success entered the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 8 Tamil’ as a contestant. Coincidentally, actor Kamal Hassan, the prior host of the show for the past 7 seasons got replaced by actor Vijay Sethupathi.

Just like any TV show, Bigg Boss is also often used as a platform for movie promotions. With actor Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Amaran’ movie up for release on October 31, the lead actor visited the Bigg Boss 8 house on friday and showed the contestants his movie trailer. As he spoke about his experience in the making of the movie, he also mentioned that Sachana Namidass has acted in his upcoming untitled movie, SK23.
Sivakarthikeyan is teaming up with director AR Murugadoss for his 23rd film. The movie is under production with the crew shooting in Chennai and Pondicherry. The actor recalled working with Sachana Namidass in SK23 in a hospital sequence where the actor has to rush her to a hospital.
In a typical Sivakarthikeyan fashion, he humorously pointed out that he thought Sachana Namidass was a schoolgirl and casually questioned her of her studies but came to know that she is much older than she seems. This light subject also revealed that Sachana is now a part of director AR Murugadoss’s movie.
The show on its 8th season is now three weeks old with Sachana Namidass already evicted and added as a surprise inclusion again while Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran movie is all set for its release. The cast of SK23 also includes Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth, actor Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth.
