The announcement came through the Official Ajith Kumar Racing as the recent crash has impacted enough for the team to come to the conclusion.

As per the announcement, “After careful reflection, Mr. Ajith Kumar has made the difficult but selfless decision to step back from driving for Ajith Kumar Racing in the upcoming Dubai 24H Series. This decision underscores his professionalism and his unwavering commitment to prioritizing the team’s interests over personal ambitions”. The announcement also reported that this break is temporary stating that “Mr. Ajith Kumar will continue to be an active participant in the Dubai 24H Series.”
Being an integral part of a racer is not just the physical stability but the condition of the car too. The car crash ahead of the Dubai 24H preparation left a dent and inevitably made Ajith Kumar take a break and reinvent for the long season ahead.
Although the announcement is headline worthy it is also to be noted that this step back is only for the Dubai 24H endurance race even for which Ajith Kumar will continue as the team owner of Ajith Kumar Racing and support his team. He will gear up and get back on track soon for the Ajith Kumar Racing by Razoon in the Porsche Cayman GT4 car wearing 414 soon. “In a unique and bold move, he will take on a dual role serving as the owner of Ajith Kumar Racing by Bas Koeten in the Porsche 992 Cup Car (Number 901), while competing as a driver for Ajith Kumar Racing by Razoon in Porsche Cayman GT4 (Number 414) in the event” read the Press Release by Ajith Kumar Racing.
