Rakkayie – Dear Mother & a Daring Warrior
The title teaser features the Lady Superstar Nayanthara in a simple look with an outfit in saree. She wears a red saree and the tone of the frame inside the house also looks in a red shade. “Red” stands for love, rage and violence in cinema. Also, she grinds a handful of dry chillies which metaphorically represents her burning rage against the enemies who are coming for her and her daughter from outside.
Nayanthara’s ‘Alleging Letter’ against Dhanush, an actor with “family accompany”
It begins with a baby’s cry and her mother, Nayanthara feeds her, makes her to sleep in a crib peacefully. All these takes place within a house and Lady Superstar Nayanthara senses the peril which is approaching them. Outside the house, the tone looks dark, with thunders on the sky, and hundreds of men are running towards the house furiously with the weapons on one hand and torches on the other. She glances at the weapons with her burning eyes and chooses a sword & a scythe to slay them down. Dauntless she smashes down every men around her and owns the frame when she tucks her saree, marching forward to tilt down the enemies. And they reveal the title as “Raakayie”.
The caption below the title teaser has been written as, “In a land where justice is but a memory… There lived a mother whose world was her child… But when her daughter’s life is threatened by a monster… She does not flee… she does not falter… Instead, She declares War”
Music plays an important role in a movie because they can communicate the audience without even uttering a single word. It is the strongest medium of communication. The subtle and most promising music director of Kollywood Govindh Vasantha’s background score uplifts the tense and brings the fridgets to the viewers in the title teaser of “Rakkayie”. It is believed that his music in “Rakkayie” would become a contagious magic and remains in the playlists of the listeners in a loop.
Following the music, the title teaser looked dashing because such action filled sequences are predominantly looked or preferred for the hero-centric movies. But, it is getting diluted with the success of women-centric movies with different stories and well-choreographed stunts. Nayanthara once again proved that she is a path breaker in the Indian cinema industry.
