R Madhavan, the versatile actor is planning to act in yet another Biography of a South Indian Engineer in his upcoming film titled ‘G.D.N’ after the Tamil inventor G.D. Naidu. The famous inventor addressed reverently as ‘Edison of India’ or the ‘Miracle Man’ is an inspiring personality who made drastic progression in the field of business and is credited for manufacturing India’s first Electric Motor.
The movie was announced with the makers sharing a picture of R Madhavan with producer Vijay Moolan and other crew on Friday. The filming of ‘G.D.N’ officially began on Tuesday, 18 February 2025. The first schedule has started at Coimbatore, the birthplace of Mr. G.D. Naidu. The biography will follow through the innovation of the inventor from his early life to his humble beginnings from being a mechanic to an automobile entrepreneur.
