Nayanthara’s journey is now the subject of the upcoming Netflix documentary film, ‘Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale’ that is releasing on 18 November, the star’s birthday. The exciting news was shared on Instagram with the caption, “In every universe, she’s the brightest star. Watch the lady superstar and her stellar journey on Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale on 18 November, only on Netflix!”
The post also mentions Nayanthara’s husband and director Vignesh Shivan, Director Gautam Vasudev Menon and many technicians who will be involved in the making of the documentary film which is reportedly 1 hour 21 minutes according to Economic Times.
Nayanthara’s journey has been astonishing as she started as a television anchor in her mother tongue Malayalam and later tried her hands on modelling and acting with her debut in 2003 with the Malayalam film ‘Manassinakkare’ which was supposed be ‘a one time thing’. Without any interest in acting, her first movie went on to become a hit, catapulting her career from Malayalam to Tamil and Telugu cinema.
Her personal life, especially her relationships were publicised and discussed with severe backlash against the actress with years of criticism following her personal choices. Her marriage with director Vignesh Shivan was supposed to be released but got delayed on Netflix.

Nayanthara is currently signed in multiple projects with exciting combinations as her films ‘The Test’ alongside Madhavan and Siddharth are waiting for a release and ‘Mannangatti Since 1960’ following. She is also signed up for Vishnu Edavan’s movie starring opposite Kavin.
