‘Nesippaya’ in the surface level upholds the usual narrative of a boy meets a girl, falls in love, goes through a breakup and a cut off to years later where the two characters are tied together due to some circumstance. This is also the story of Arjun and Diya and their journey from being college sweethearts to a mysterious arrest of Diya in some unknown foreign nation and Arjun’s fight for her freedom.
