The International Film Festival of Indian (IFFI) happening in Goa is an annual celebration of cinematic excellence from around the world, especially in providing a common platform for regional, commercial and world cinemas. The festival over the years is flooded with submissions from all over the world in Feature and Non – Feature category.
With several spectacular submissions in each category, the festival also celebrates many of the unnoticed Indian films ranging from Commercial, Indie, Short Films, Feature and Non Feature. The 55th International Film Festival of India is happening from 20 – 28 November, 2024. This year the jury has decided on screening 25 Feature films with 5 mainstream films for the broad category and 20 Non – Feature films from emerging and fresh directors.
South Indian Movies screening at IFFI, 2024
Out of 384 contemporary Indian movies, 25 Feature Films are selected for screening in the Indian Panorama. This list is curated by a Jury consisting of 12 members headed by hailed Film Director, Actor and Screenwriter Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.

South Indian Non – Feature films that are selected for screening at the International Film Festival of India are accumulated by a Jury of six members headed by acclaimed Documentary and Wildlife Film Director, Mr. Subbiah Nallamuthu. Of 20 Non – Feature films enlisted, 2 are South Indian movies.

The Indian Panorama is included from 1978 in IFFI for the sole purpose of celebrating and validating the works of Indian Films along the world cinema and in showcasing some of the best films produced by Indian talents.
