Will the Magic of Tamil Cinema Works?
The successors of Kollywood cinema such as MGR, Shivaji, Rajini, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Ajith, Vijay Sethupathi, Vikram and many more have done one or more movies as a cop. And it is believed to be a formula to crack the success as a commercial hero with a well-written investigative cop story. Following their footsteps, Tharshan has opted to do a role as a cop in the upcoming movie ‘Surrender’.

Looking at the first look poster, we can find three different personalities aligned in one frame. Tharshan with an intense look at the audience sitting amidst the bunch of files piled over one another and his outfit clearly indicates that he will portray as the training Sub Inspector. Meanwhile, we can see the legendary actor Lal looking in the attire of a constable and the commanding performer Sujith Shankar could be a suspect. The poster looks appealing and exciting because it could be an engaging cop story which could last for years.
