Actor Karthi known for his unique selection of projects and incorporating with fresh minds, has now collaborated with director Nalan Kumarasamy for his upcoming ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ in a quirky, musical drama, with an impressive array of talents on board revealed in the teaser.
Karthi who was last seen on screen with the highly acclaimed C.Premkumar directorial movie, ‘Meiyazhagan’ along with Arvind Swamy is now back in a commercial element with ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. With two remarkable movies, ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ and ‘Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum’, Nalan Kumarasamy’s return is making headlines.
‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ teaser shows Karthi as a cop, dancing among a mass of people while there are several references of the late actor MG Ramachandran who was widely known as ‘Vaathiyaar’, an elevation to the title, and intriguing the audience with the characters of veteran actors Rajkiran and Sathyaraj. The latter seems to be playing the part of antagonist adorning a short hair cut, staring right at the camera.

The Studio Green production also includes Nalan Kumarasamy’s usual collaborator Santhosh Narayanan for another hit music album while the action and stunts are choreographed by the famous ‘Anal’ Arasu master. Technical team includes George C. Williams in Cinematography and Vetre Krishna in Editing.
