The Grand Finale of Bigg Boss Tamil 8 commenced on Sunday with the host Vijay Sethupathi interacting with the season 8 contestants and the public. The Winner title was deservingly won by contestant Muthukumaran who bagged Rs. 40.5 Lakh Cash Prize. Based on the public voting, Contestant Soundariya Nanjundan was selected as the Runner Up for the season.

The top 5 contestants selected for the finale day, except for Soundariya were guaranteed a cash prize as last week the Prize Money task where Muthukumaran took 50,000 within the time frame which makes his title winner money as 41 Lakh in total.

Both Rayan and Pavithra secured a 2 Lakh suitcase safely, taking home the amount even after coming 5th and 4th place respectively. While Vishal took away 5 Lakh within the time frame. While Soundariya re entered the Bigg Boss house without the amount and Jacqueline got surprisingly eliminated for failing to enter the house before the time limit.
