In the recent television updates of newly launching TV Serials, Vijay TV’s upcoming announcement of ‘Dhanam’ stands out in terms of concept and story. The announcement promo for the serial reflects the true situation of women who are the sole breadwinners of the family in the absence of their husbands.

‘Dhanam’ serial promo opens up about a newlywed couple on their wedding night sharing their hopes and dreams for the family, where the husband tells her that he wants to make sure to settle his siblings in a good job, higher studies and to build a house for his mother. He also asks her to start a life for themselves only after completing all his duties, to which she agrees. It is revealed later that the husband passed away, leaving the wife to become the sole caretaker of the family. She has towering debts and installments and also has to tackle her grieving mother-in-law who is upset with her. With only her auto to her rescue, Dhanam as a driver has to earn and sustain her family and also complete her late husband’s dreams.
Dhanam serial will be telecasting in Vijay TV from 17 February 2025 at 3PM.
