Zee Tamil is launching a new serial with actress Fouzee in the lead playing the titular character in and as ‘Tamizh’. The serial was announced on Monday with a conceptual promo that introduced the premise, plot and important characters. ‘Tamizh’ is a hard working and dedicated woman who works as a sewer in Tirupur.
Tamizh’s adherence and commitment to her work gets the Best Employer of the Year award in her factory, where she is known as a kind hearted and brave person. She is honest and grounded and doesn’t like when people lie to her. She also doesn’t hope for a materialistic life and just wants a hard working man who is truthful to her.
In the same factory works Kavin, a man who is in love with Tamizh but treats her as a friend in the fear of rejection. It is only later revealed in the promo that the man is actually a millionaire and a famous businessman. Will Tamizh be able to forgive him for not revealing his true identity? Will the couple get together thinking past these hurdles?
The titular character is played by actress Fouzee who is a familiar face for Tamil serial watchers as she has been in some of the prominent projects in Vijay TV and Zee Tamil. The male lead is actor Sujay R Hegde, a Kannada television actor, making his debut in Tamil through this project. The date of telecast of this new serial in Zee Tamil is not revealed.
