The series “Breakup Kahani” comprises five episodes and their running time is constructed within 18 to 17 minutes. All the five stories are weaved around the core theme that is “Love” and the controversies that are occurring between the new gen couples due to their insecurities, instability, lack of compromise, and the contrasting priorities in a relationship.

All the five stories are well-written by Pavan Piduru and his detailed screenplay showcases the couples of this modern era who are struggling to find a hold to clutch their relationship for a longer run but unfortunately their priorities fades away the love string between them. Thimaraju the director of the series has pulled off the best from all the artists who have performed in the five different breakup stories. His locations and backdrop for all the stories are perfectly staged with fine lighting.
Since, the duration is within 18 minutes it is quite tough to convey the message/idea which occurs within the creators mind. But both Thimaraju and Pavan Pidiru have successfully conveyed all the essential elements from the first story to the end. Every story justifies the reasons behind the breakup of the relationship which includes the contrasting priorities over family & self-priority, diverse opinions, prejudices, baffled live-in relationship and insecurities.

All the five episodes are mounted in an engaging and immersive way. Because out of five, the couples of three episodes opt to “live-in”, the present day couples who consider it to be a solution for all their doubts for a better understanding of their partners. These stories have humor, adorable fights, heartbreaks, and key takeaways which makes us want to watch all the five episodes.
The Missed Marks of “BreakUp Kahani”
One of the major flaws is the overshadow of the background music during crucial conversations between the lead roles. It becomes a kind of burden or disturbance to follow up the pace of the story. Though all the lead characters have done their best, some exhibit a wooden performances and it seems to be a forced expression which makes it look out of context from the given scenario.
