Filmmaker Laxman Utekar’s film adaptation of the life and time of Sambhaji, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji post the demise of the latter and the political and war climate in the Maratha Kingdom, ‘Chhaava’ has the audience flock to the theatres. Starring Vicky Kaushal in the titular role as Sambhaji Maharaj, ‘Chhaava’ has already gained a copious reception.

Post 12 days, ‘Chhaava’ is set to release in Telugu language as the famous production house Geeta Arts are backing the distribution. The official announcement dropped on Wednesday, the release was a result of public demand and the massive acknowledgement of the film in Social Media Platforms. Revealing the news, Geeta Arts posted, “The epic tale of India’s courageous son, #Chhaava is now all set to roar in Telugu by popular demand”.
One of the biggest openers for the Hindi Cinema, the periodical action drama also is a recipient of huge appreciation and celebration among fans. Most of the lifting has understandably been done by actors Vicky Kaushal and Akshaye Khanna whose commitment reflects heavily on screen. Telugu actress Rashmika Mandanna who has had a lineup of Blockbusters is also playing a crucial part as Maharani Yesubai will be a significant crowd puller in the Telugu speaking states. Now the majestic tale of valor and sacrifice will be available in Telugu on 7 March.
