Singer Kalpana Raghavendar, daughter of seasoned singer and actor T Raghavendra is a known face for many, famous for her discography in Telugu, Tamil and thousands of Stage shows and performances in TV, was hospitalised in Hyderabad yesterday. The singer was found unconscious after taking pills and admitted after the neighbours alerted the police.

On Tuesday, 4 March 2025, the 44 year old singer was found unconscious in her house in Hyderabad where the police took her helpless and rushed her for immediate treatment in Holistic Hospital.
It is reported by sources that the police found Singer Kalpana Raghavendar after the concerned neighbours notified them for a check after the singer not opening the door for two days in her apartment. The reasons for her attempt to end her life remain unknown with her fellow singers and colleagues seen rushing to the hospital to visit her.
