‘Thandel’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles and helmed by director Chandoo Mandoti is one of the refreshing stories awaited for release on 7 February 2025. The trailer for the movie was released on 28 January in Visakhapatnam, giving away a beautiful sneak peek into the sea drama.
‘Thandel’ Trailer Review
The 2 minutes 22 seconds trailer shows Raju (Naga Chaitanya), the protagonist, is a fisherman who is madly in love with Bujji (Sai Pallavi). He was captured by the Pakistani Navy for trespassing inside the sea limit of the country during the protagonist’s subsequent fight and return to India while Bujji’s yearning and weary await for Raju’s return is the story of ‘Thandel’.
The movie is about the real life incident that happened in 2018 when a bunch of Indian fishermen were captured by the neighbouring country for crossing the sea boundary. A patriotic story mixed with emotional and romantic drama makes it a refreshing movie for the Telugu audience in recent times.
