Star Maa bags the highest views among the Telugu Channels in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The ultimate aim of television channels is to entertain people with new ideas in reality shows, serials and telecasting premiere movies. There are many channels telecasted in the Telugu language and they compete to secure the highest views and trp rating for the reality shows and serials. Based on the report of BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council) India, the top 5 Telugu channels with highest views for the 40th week (28th Sep to 4th Oct) are revealed.

Star Maa secures the first place and one of the important reasons is BB Telugu season 8. Actor Nagarjuna who has been hosting this biggest reality show in Telugu for the past eight consecutive years. The fictional shows which boost these views are “Karthika Deepam 2, Brahmamudi, Intinti Ramayanam, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu”. Star Maa Movies Maa Tv was rebranded as Star Maa on February 13 2017, with a brand new logo and it is followed by the rebranding of Maa movies, Maa Gold, and Maa Music into Star Maa Movies, Star Maa Gold, and Star Maa Music.
ETV is the second oldest Telugu satellite channel and it is a private satellite channel owned by Ramoji Group. It is telecasted in Telugu language with seven sister channels which includes,
