Now, avid fanatics and lovers of the animation film franchise who have grown up watching the film, are in for a visual treat as the makers have finally ended the long wait and dropped the first-ever teaser-trailer video for the live-action adaptation.

The How to Train Your Dragon live-action film will be released globally on June 13, 2025 in an IMAX version. Taking to official social media handles, the makers, Universal Pictures, revealed the teaser trailer for the film yesterday and it is just giving a glimpse of being a flawless and cinematic masterpiece in terms of the performances, storyline, emotional undertones, plot, and also the visuals.
For those unaware, several of the original and iconic characters from the animated series are now being played in the live-action film by new actors. These bunch of fresh and raw faces in the film version include Mason Thames as Hiccup, Nico Parker as Astrid, and Julian Dennison as Fishlegs Ingerman. ‘300’ star Gerard Butler resumes his multilayered role in the film as Hiccup’s father, Stoick the Vast, the character he voiced in the animated trilogy.
The official Twitter handle of the film posted the teaser trailer of the film which went viral on X. The fans instantly flooded the video teaser’s comments by sharing their joy and zeal at witnessing the live-action version without a doubt.
